2205球阀is an industrial valve made of duplex stainless steel 2205 (UNS S32205/S31803) as the core material, designed for harsh corrosive environments, with high strength and corrosion resistance. Its core features and applications are as follows:

1、 Material characteristics and structural design
Excellent corrosion resistance performance
Advantages of biphasic organization: The ratio of 22% chromium, 5.3% nickel, 3.2% molybdenum, and 0.16% nitrogen forms a ferrite+austenite biphasic structure, with significant resistance to chloride ion corrosion (Cl ⁻ ≤ 10000ppm), especially suitable for working conditions such as seawater and sulfur-containing media.
High mechanical strength: The yield strength is ≥ 450MPa, which is twice that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel (such as 304), and it can withstand high-pressure impact.
Sealing and flow channel design
Sealing form:
Soft seal: using PTFE, PEEK or RPTFE valve seats to achieve zero leakage (ANSI Class VI), suitable for temperatures ranging from -50 ℃ to 260 ℃;
Hard seal: Ball welded with Stellite alloy (hardness HRC55-60), resistant to high temperature and high pressure (≤ 16.0MPa).
Channel optimization: Full diameter design (flow resistance coefficient ≤ 0.3) to avoid medium deposition; The reduced diameter structure (DN ≤ 50) reduces the volume of the valve body.
