Overview of 500X pressure relief valve
The 500X pressure relief valve is a hydraulic control valve specifically designed for fire protection systems, high-rise building water supply pipelines, and urban water supply projects. It achieves dual functions of pressure relief and holding through hydraulic self control.
Its core function is:
Pressure relief mode: When the pipeline pressure exceeds the set safe value, the pressure relief mode will be automatically activated to prevent system damage caused by overpressure.
Pressure holding mode: Maintain the upstream pressure of the main valve not lower than the set value to ensure stable water supply.
Structure composition and working principle
Main components:
Main valve, pressure relief/holding pilot valve, needle valve, ball valve (A/B/C), micro filter, pressure gauge.
The valve body material is cast iron/cast steel (WCB), the valve seat is copper alloy, and the seal is nitrile rubber.
Working principle:
Pressure relief process: When the pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure relief state, the overpressure water flows out through ball valve C and automatically closes after the pressure is restored.
Pressure holding process: When the pilot valve is closed, the main valve control room increases the pressure to close the valve; If the upstream pressure exceeds the set value, the water supply will be activated.
The 500X pressure relief/holding valve consists of a main valve, a pressure relief/holding pilot valve needle valve, a ball valve, a micro filter, and a pressure gauge to form a hydraulic control connection system. By utilizing hydraulic automatic operation, it can be used as both a pressure relief valve and a pressure holding valve. When used as a pressure relief valve, it can maintain the water supply pressure below the set safe value; Used as a pressure holding valve, it can maintain the upstream water pressure of the main valve above the set value and maintain the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve.
The 500X pressure relief/holding valve is mainly used in fire or other water supply systems to prevent system overpressure or maintain the pressure of the fire water supply system. After the fire pump is turned off, the impact of water hammer can be reduced. Also used for water hammer devices in large-scale water supply systems. And a clean filter screen is installed at the inlet of the valve control system, which utilizes fluid characteristics to prevent suspended particles with high density and diameter from entering the control system, ensuring smooth system circulation and safe and reliable operation of the valve. The system operates smoothly, has high intensity, and has a long service life.
