Overview of 700X Water Pump Control Valve
The 700X water pump control valve is a check valve installed at the outlet of water pumps in high-rise buildings and water supply systems. It is mainly used to prevent medium backflow, eliminate water hammer effects, and protect water pump equipment. Its core function is staged shutdown control: when stopping the pump, 90% is first shut off to buffer water hammer, and the remaining 10% is sealed by return water pressure to avoid water hammer impact.
Structure and Working Principle
Main components:
The hydraulic control system consists of a main valve, solenoid valve, needle valve, ball valve, one-way valve, travel switch, micro filter, and pressure gauge.
The valve body material is cast iron/cast steel (WCB), the seal is nitrile rubber, and the valve seat is copper alloy.
Workflow:
Water supply stage: The solenoid valve is fully open, and upstream water enters the main valve control room through the needle valve to maintain the opening of the main valve.
Pump shutdown stage: The electromagnetic pilot valve is closed, the pressure in the control room increases, and the main valve is closed in two stages (90% triggers the pump shutdown signal, and the remaining 10% is closed by the return water).

Key points for installation and maintenance
Installation requirements:
Horizontal installation, a Y-shaped filter should be installed in front of the valve, and the arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the direction of water flow.
The flange connection shall comply with the GB/T 17241.6 standard.
Maintenance suggestion:
Clean the filter every 3 months and check the diaphragm and sealing ring (vulnerable parts).
The voltage of the solenoid valve can be selected as AC220V or DC24V, with a normally closed design.
