1、 Overview: Rotary ball valve is a type of valve with a simple and compact structure, usually used for connecting or cutting off pipelines containing gas or suspended solids. The most widely used regulating device in industrial production processes is the gas-liquid linkage regulator, and the actuator of the gas-liquid linkage is the rotary ball valve (hereinafter referred to as the plug). The rotary ball valve consists of a shell with a circular channel and a core with an orifice plate. When the core moves in the channel, it drives the spherical shaft to make circular motion and complete the opening and closing action; When the core moves along the centerline of the channel, the spherical shaft rotates around its own axis to achieve the opening and closing action; At the same time, the flow rate can be controlled by adjusting the opening of the rotating shaft. Due to its excellent fluid control characteristics and sealing performance, as well as the ability to easily replace parts as needed, this type of valve is widely used as a parameter adjustment and control device in self-control systems of industrial sectors such as chemical, petroleum, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as an execution unit for intermediate relays in automatic control systems.
2、 Working principle:
1. When the operator presses the "start button" during the opening process, the electromagnet attracts the armature to push the slider up and raise the pressure in the lower chamber to a certain value. After releasing the hand, the "brake lever" is released by the spring force, causing the gate to descend to the fully closed position; On the contrary, if the "stop button" is pressed, the armature of the electromagnet is released and the slider descends, causing the pressure in the lower chamber to decrease to a certain value. Then, the hand button is pressed again, and the "brake lever" is acted upon by the spring force, causing the gate to close to the fully open position.
2. If the operator turns the handle clockwise by 90 °~180 ° during the closing process, the full open position can be quickly closed; If you turn it counterclockwise by 90 °~120 °, you can quickly open it.
3. The manual reset function uses the cam on the handle to reset the switch state in manual mode.
4. Emergency protection can quickly cut off the main circuit power supply to prevent accidents in the event of a short circuit fault in the power supply or a circuit break caused by other reasons.
