Multi turn electric actuator
多回转电动执行器is a device that uses electricity to drive mechanical motion, control valve opening and closing, or regulate, commonly used in automation systems, industrial control, and other fields. It converts electrical energy into mechanical energy and achieves precise motion control through motors, reduction devices, and transmission mechanisms, making it suitable for various scenarios such as chemical, energy, and water treatment.
The working principle of multi turn electric actuators is based on the motor receiving a control signal (such as 4-20mA current or 0-10V voltage) and rotating, which is then reduced by a worm or gear to increase torque, and then converted into linear or rotational motion of the valve through a transmission mechanism (such as a connecting rod or toothed belt). A closed-loop feedback system (such as a position sensor) ensures positioning accuracy within ± 1% and has built-in overload protection to prevent damage.
According to the control mode, it is mainly divided into two categories:
Switch type: It performs simple on/off operations and is commonly used in scenarios where valves are fully open or closed (such as ball valves and butterfly valves). The structure has an integrated or split design, which is easy to install but cannot adjust the flow rate.
Adjustable type: Supports precise opening control (such as 0-100% continuous adjustment), suitable for applications that require fine flow or pressure management (such as chemical pipelines), and achieves closed-loop feedback through analog signals (such as 4-20mA).
The core features include high load capacity (withstanding high thrust/tension), waterproof and dustproof (IP68 rating, resistant to short-term immersion), corrosion-resistant materials (such as stainless steel casing), low-power design, and adaptability to harsh environments (-20 ℃ to 60 ℃).
