Groove filter
Overview of Groove Filters
Groove filter is a pipeline filtration equipment connected by clamps (grooves), mainly used to remove solid particles and impurities in fluids, and protect downstream valves, pumps and other equipment. Its core features are fast installation, low flow resistance, and easy maintenance, widely used in fields such as fire protection, water supply and drainage, and petrochemicals.
Main types and characteristics
Y-shaped groove filter
Structure: Y-shaped channel design, removable and washable filter screen, suitable for media containing particles (such as sewage and industrial circulating water).
Advantages: The filtration accuracy is usually 0.5-2mm, supports online maintenance, and does not require dismantling of pipelines.
T-shaped groove filter
Technology: Multi stage filtration design, suitable for high impurity content scenarios (such as petroleum and chemical pipelines).
Material: The valve body is mostly made of ductile iron or stainless steel, with strong corrosion resistance.
