One is installed on the top of each oil tank, mostly near the tank ladder platform. The diameter of the measuring hole is 150 millimeters, equipped with a sealed hole cover and elastic bolts. In order to prevent sparks caused by the collision between the hole cover and the iron object when closed, an oil resistant gasket or soft metal (copper or aluminum) is embedded in the sealing groove of the hole cover. Due to the easy friction and spark generation of the steel tape measure used for measurement when in contact with the outlet, a copper (or aluminum alloy) sleeve is embedded inside the hole tube, or a non sparking non-ferrous metal guide groove (ruler slot) is installed outside the fixed measurement point.
