1、 Material and Corrosion Resistance
The 904L ball valve is made of super austenitic stainless steel (UNS N08904), with a composition of 00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu, and has the following characteristics:
High corrosion resistance: It exhibits excellent performance in dilute sulfuric acid (0-98% concentration), phosphoric acid, and chloride solutions, especially suitable for chloride containing ion media such as seawater and brackish water.
Stress corrosion resistance: Carbon content ≤ 0.02%, avoiding the precipitation of carbides after welding or heat treatment, and reducing the risk of stress corrosion.
High temperature adaptability: It can work stably for a long time in dilute sulfuric acid below 40 ℃.
