1、 Core Definition and Function
General valve (also known as double sealed plug valve) is a shut-off device used in pipeline systems for aviation kerosene, natural gas, chemical media, etc. Its characteristics include:
Double double break function: Two sealing slides are driven by a plug to achieve bidirectional sealing. When closed, the slides squeeze the elastic sealing ring to form zero leakage
Release design: Built in release valve can detect seal failure and release pressure, improving system safety

Track type plug valves (general valves) are suitable for cutting off or connecting pipeline media in various working conditions such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power industries with nominal pressure of CLASS150-900LBS and working temperature of -29-180 ℃.
Main structural features of track type plug valve (general valve):
① During the opening and closing process of the valve, there is no contact between the sealing surface of the valve body and the sealing surface of the sliding plate. Therefore, the sealing surface has no friction or wear, and the valve has a long service life and low opening and closing torque;
② When repairing a valve, there is no need to remove it from the pipeline. Simply remove the valve bottom cover and replace a pair of sliding plates, making maintenance very convenient;
③ The valve body and plug are full bore, and there is no flow resistance when the medium passes through the valve. The valve can also be cleaned with a ball, overcoming the disadvantages of reduced diameter valves;
④ The valve body of the warlord is coated with hard chromium in the full bore, and the sealing area is hard and smooth;
⑤ The elastic seal on the slide is made of fluororubber and molded into grooves on the surface of the slide. Metal to metal sealing with fire-resistant function as a backing for elastic sealing;
⑥ The valve is equipped with an automatic release device (optional) to prevent abnormal pressure rise in the valve chamber and verify the effectiveness of the valve after it is completely closed;
⑦ The valve switch indicator is synchronized with the switch position, which can accurately display the on/off status of the gear transmission full bore valve.
Working principle of track type plug valve (general valve):
1. When the plug valve is fully open, aligning the channel of the plug with the channel of the valve body can ensure the ideal minimum pressure drop.
2. When the handwheel is turned, the plug will rotate in the direction of the valve, while driving the valve disc to rotate 90 degrees. As the handwheel continues to rotate, the plug will press down, causing the valve to open to both sides. The valve disc will tightly press against the valve seat, causing the valve to close.
3. When the handwheel rotates in the opposite direction, first move the plug upwards to disengage the valve disc from the valve seat. Continue to rotate the handwheel to make the plug drive the valve disc to rotate 90 degrees. Finally, align the channel of the plug with the channel of the valve body to fully open the valve.
4. The advantage of this valve is that during the opening process, the valve disc and seat are in a disengaged state, and the opening and closing process is zero friction, which will not cause wear on the sealing surface. At the same time, the seal adopts a soft seal, which ensures zero leakage when the seal is closed.
