Differential pressure bypass balancing valve is a hydraulic control valve that achieves system balance through the pressure difference of the medium itself. It is widely used in parallel fire and domestic water supply systems as well as air conditioning systems. The following are its main features and applications:
1. Function and working principle
Dynamic adjustment: By sensing the change in inlet and outlet pressure difference through a pilot valve, the main valve opening is adjusted using a negative feedback mechanism to stabilize the pressure difference at the set value.
Switching between fire protection and domestic water supply: In case of a fire, the domestic water supply is cut off to ensure the fire protection water supply, and the domestic water supply is automatically restored after the fire pressure is reduced.
Application of air conditioning system: Balance the pressure difference between supply and return water, reduce system noise and equipment loss.
2. Structure and composition
Main components: including main valve, differential pressure control pilot valve, needle valve, ball valve, and micro filter.
Material and Connection: The valve body material is mostly ductile iron or stainless steel, and flange or groove connections are used.
3. Technical parameters
Pressure rating: The nominal pressure range is 0.6-4.0 MPa, and the shell test pressure is 1.5 times the nominal pressure.
Applicable medium: water, working temperature 0-80 ℃ (some models can reach up to 150 ℃).
4. Installation and maintenance
Installation requirements: A filter should be installed before the valve, and the direction of the arrow on the main valve body should be consistent with the flow direction of the pipeline.
Maintenance points: Regularly inspect vulnerable parts such as diaphragms to ensure valve sensitivity.
