Low pressure switch: specifically designed for fire protection systems, it automatically starts the pump when the pipeline pressure is below the set value. For example, the GE-208F model supports an adjustable range of 0.2-50bar.
2. Working principle
Mechanical: Pressure acts on sensing elements (such as bellows) to generate displacement, and the micro switch is turned on and off by a spring mechanism.
Electronic: The pressure signal is converted into an electrical signal by a sensor, processed by an MCU, and output as a switch or analog signal.
Fire protection application: When the pressure of the sprinkler system is lower than the water supply end, the switch will activate and feedback a signal to the alarm host, starting the fire pump.
